Teddy Boys

Teddy Boys fashion consisted of a more elegant fashion rather than the ultra functional clothing of their parents generation. The look included a long single breasted jacket with narrow contrasting lapels and lots of pockets. The look is a feminie version of the original. _____ House of Holland Fall 2008 RTW London This suit is reminiscent of the original Teddy Boy look with the contrasting details of the buckles instead of the original pocket details. It also has the narrow trousers of the Teddy Boy look. This look to me is a mix of the Teddy Boy look and the traditional Scottish dress.
